Oh! Man, stop for a moment to reflect, it will not be wasted time, who knows if the intellect will be illuminated and the heart will claim its rights. Perhaps you will hear a sweet call.
After the noise of the world you will find a little silence, and in the silence that much-desired, yet little-known peace. The Word is truth, it is life, it is love.

It is a colloquy full of gentleness and love that shines through every line and remains so even when the proposals or calls made take on the severe contours of reproof or profound sorrow in the face of the evils of our time.
The book contains all the reflections aimed at helping you to know what God wants from you at this moment in your life.
One is amazed by the analogies found with the exhortations and practice of St. Ignatius regarding the insistence with which self-examination is proposed for the acquisition of necessary virtues.
A pedagogy also permeates the pages of the book because it takes into account all the difficulties of the journey. Very apt is the emphasis on Love as the driving force and vortex that irresistibly sweeps one beyond obstacles.

I think one cannot remain indifferent, because anyone who reads this book can see their own life reflected in it, and realize that only by entrusting ourselves totally to the Lord can we overcome any obstacle that life presents to us, and that we must fear nothing if we decide to remain with Him. I have understood that there is no limit to faith and I am aware that mine is destined only to grow.

"In the Footsteps of the Master" is a book not to be read in a hurry, such is its beauty. It questions one's own way of being a Christian, awakening the conscience. Reading those pages raises doubts about responsibility, honesty, sincerity, and feelings of guilt over human justifications. The Words "I am He who searches the hearts, I also see the inner movements that are sometimes not visible on the outside," give a sense of failure, due to a thousand doubts, and invite a profound examination of daily life.
One has the sensation of being before a Special Analyst who, while searching deep into the heart, follows step by step, without instilling fear but offering His Divine help, to facilitate the spiritual journey and the normal daily path. It is a book to keep at hand and read in small doses, for a continuous verification of convictions, values, principles, and the actions of everyday life. Just open the book and read any page to meditate without haste but with the healthy fear that helps, stimulates, and gives the awareness that temptations are golden and appealing and falling is easy. It is an invitation not to be discouraged, He is near, ready to help those who ask.
Words like "Seek me and I will come" console, move. One has the certainty of Having Him beside when courage, constancy, perseverance, and willpower fail; arduous conquests but not therefore unattainable, with His hand ready to lift those who fall. He Addresses the reader, exhorting, admonishing, explaining, with the Sweetness, Love, and Mercy that only the Father, the Brother, the Divine Analyst can give. Thanks to Corrado and Enrico who wrote these wonderful pages, in them I found help to meditate on my faith, on prayer. The discussion on how to be a Christian will always be open, in a continuous and serene reflection, for spiritual improvement and healthy inner growth.
With gratitude and immense affection.

I read "In the Footsteps of the Master" in one breath and I believe it is one of the most beautiful books I have ever read, if not the most beautiful. I would like to ask you if the truths contained within and the teachings were communicated to you in actual apparitions of the Lord, because that is how it seems when reading the book. The book is wonderful because it is a step-by-step explanation of the truths of the Gospel, so that they can be translated into daily life. This book gave me so much comfort and strength, I felt Jesus near, speaking to me and inviting me to follow Him. The phrase "Keep your gaze fixed on me" remained impressed upon me, and it is what I repeat to myself in the most difficult moments.

As for my opinion on your wonderful book, I must preface that I am going through a very difficult personal moment, sometimes I let myself fall into moments of discouragement and despair, but since I approached the reading of Your book I have found a beacon, a point of reference, one more reason to keep going... it was like rediscovering the taste for life that seemed hidden by the fog of suffering and resignation.
When I read those messages I saw myself reflected in a mirror, and I am convinced like You that humanity can still be saved from the abyss of self-destruction if each of us listens to the voice of their heart, so that the soul of each can soar to heaven to see the light of God.
I urge you to continue on this path, never cease to spread the messages of Light that He has transmitted to all humanity so that many people like me can draw teaching from them, and can shake off the dust of apathy and indifference, thus finding the strength to begin that process of moral and spiritual renewal, which returns to us the true essence of ourselves so shamelessly hijacked by this society which, day after day, increasingly strengthens the bars of its multiple cages.
I am convinced that, through Your fruitful and loving service, many people will finally be able to grasp the true essence of their own existence, trying to curb distractions and temptations, always lurking to divert them from it. I admire You greatly because Your mission has an impeccable value in itself: putting oneself at the service of the weakest and the poor with charitable love, just as He and Mother Teresa of Calcutta taught us.
I warmly greet you and apologize if I have taken up some of your time, but I felt the duty to express these thoughts of gratitude to you, which in their brevity manage to convey much more than entire superficial and empty pages.
