From: THE DIARY of Veronica Giuliani

Thus He said to me: "Now I come, all love; but on the day of judgment, in which I will appear in this same way, then I will be all wrath and rigorous. You at this point will feel great pain, but this pain is nothing compared to what everyone will universally have then...".

The promised confession with Jesus

"Before eight o'clock at night, I was gathered in prayer and at the same time had the vision of our glorious Lord, the Blessed Virgin, and many saints with a multitude of Angels.

I was all trembling, because of the action the Lord wanted to take with my soul. Wherever I turned, it seemed to me I would find judgment.

The Lord sat on a throne, and all those saints paid him court.

The Most Holy Virgin (sat) on another throne, and all the Angels, in the air, sang: VICTORY! VICTORY...".

The Guardian Angel

"My guardian angel made me kneel at the Lord's feet, and ordered me to publicly confess my faults and everything I had committed during my life.

In the meantime, I made the sign of the cross and wanted to begin my confession: but I could not, due to the pain I felt for having offended Him, my supreme Good. Finally, I began like this: 'My Spouse, I have offended You, and to You I confess'.

Saying this, the Lord gave me light, and made me realize how much worth and value this sacrament of penance has...".

The Angel accuses

"...The Lord made me silent, and told my guardian angel to make the accusation for me. Thus, the said Angel began from the age of three years up to the present hour, and accused me of everything.

And although he made general accusations, it seemed to me to see distinctly every minimal thought, there, before the presence of God. Oh, what pain! Oh, what torment! Oh, what sorrow I felt!...

My Guardian Angel continued to accuse me of every minimal defect, and I, at every accusation, felt pain and sorrow, for having offended the supreme Good...".
